after working alongside one of the industry's most respected cigar makers and blending his array of fine cigars for many years, Jesus Fuego made the conscientious decision in december of 2006 to finally launch his own brand.
carefully fermented and patiently aged, this rich sun grown 'corojo' wrapper completes the complex flavor of fillers and binder grown by Nestor Plasencia exclusively for this blend.
the 6" x 58 gran reserva had one of the most gorgeous corojo wrappers i've ever seen. dark and oily with an attractive reddish patina. the smoke was thick, creamy and marvelously smooth. "corojo" is my favorite, my "go to" cigar.
corojo is the name mostly and probably misused/used by many cigar makers for the wrapper. one would think then that all "corojo" would taste the same, but they don't.
this cigar--J.Fuego Gran Reserva 6x58 has what i look for in that special wrapper known as corojo!
try one today at the smoke ring!
